Structure

Description

This project involved a comprehensive analysis of two classical windows in the Dillier House, built in 1877. The process began with precise measurements taken on-site, followed by the creation of detailed plans to understand the original construction and place the elements within their historical context. The analysis included the windows, shutters, and fittings to assess their condition and determine the necessary steps for a sensitive renovation, aligning with the building's future use as a museum.

Research into historical restoration methods informed the development of measures to enhance comfort while maintaining the integrity of the building. The approach was later applied to the entire room to ensure its suitability for the house’s transformation into a museum.
