Light Design
Description
A 32-meter-long corridor was transformed with diffuse lighting, creating a soft, enveloping atmosphere inspired by fog and natural light. The custom-built light modules, averaging one meter in length, were mounted along the corridor, with the rhythm intensified at the ends.
The structure featured a wooden subframe covered with a stretched film, with LED profiles and reflectors positioned to ensure an even distribution of light. The result was a continuous, diffused lighting effect, enveloping visitors in soft illumination while preserving the corridor's rhythm and flow.

Construction

The design meets EU building codes and regulations by selecting the appropriate lamps with the correct color rendering and Unified Glare Rating (UGR), ensuring optimal illumination. Each custom-built light unit, around one meter in length, is mounted on a wooden subframe, covered with a stretched film. Reflectors are positioned to ensure even light distribution, preventing direct light from hitting the film and maintaining the tunnel's soft glow.

The design of the tunnel focuses on creating a seamless, immersive lighting experience. Rhythmic light units, mounted along the length of the corridor, produce a continuous, diffused glow that mirrors the soft, reflective qualities of fog. Curved transitions between the walls and ceiling allow the light to flow evenly, ensuring a harmonious atmosphere throughout. The use of LED profiles and strategically placed reflectors enhances this effect, enveloping the space in gentle illumination, while maintaining a sense of privacy and understated elegance.
